Open Talk Circle for Women

The Harbor House Talking Circle is open to all formerly or currently battered women. We encourage attendees to bring a friend. Topics of interest are survivor-driven. Childcare provided.

 

Wednesday Harbor House - 720 W. Fifth St.
Open Group for Women
6-7:30pm

This is an open group for women which shares information on issues such as trauma, red flags, and boundary setting. It offers a safe place to share feelings, develop safety plans, and network with our community of women, as well as an opportunity to explore the global impact of violence and learn creative strategies for change to improve the quality of life for trauma survivors. Childcare provided.

Children's Educational/Support

For children 5-12, this group offers age-appropriate information to children whose mothers are concurrently attending Open Group for Women. If a child does not want to attend group, his or her choice will be respected. Childcare provided.

This group is for experienced women exploring relationships. It is an educational group geared toward women over 55.

This is an open group for women who have experienced violence in their lives and also have a mental illness. Sponsored by Harbor House, NAMI-Fox Valley.

Michelle Ruhl facilitates this group, offering bilingual support, mentoring, and limited INS information to Hispanic survivors of domestic violence. Call prior to attending. Childcare provided.
