Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs Calumet
County Outreach Office |
Harbor House has seen record numbers of shelter residents this past year. Our goal is to welcome each resident with a new bath towel, set of sheets, a pillow, and a laundry basket. These items go with departing residents to their new homes. Of course, we need large quantities of these items to be able to provide this welcoming service to our clients. We are in urgent need of a few specific household items. Can you help us? If so, please follow the directions below to ensure that we receive a variety of items. The price range is from $3-$12. If you are shopping for Harbor House at Target, we are registered under Club Wed. Call Harbor House at 832-1667 if you have any questions. Thanks for your support!

Your donations help bring positive change to the lives of women and children in our community in the following ways:
$20 will provide one support group for a child from a violent home. These groups provide a safe space where information on domestic violence can be shared and children and teens can come together for support.
$30 will provide 2 hours of 24-hour crisis telephone services, establishing a potentially life-saving link with the community.
$50 will provide advocacy and support to one battered woman in obtaining a potentially life-saving restraining order.
$100 will provide 2 hours of preventive domestic violence education in the classroom.
$250 will provide 5 days of safe shelter for a battered woman and her children.
$500 will cover the printing cost of one edition of "Harbor Lights".
To donate, make your check payable to: Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs, and mail the check to 720 W. Fifth St., Appleton, WI 54914. Your contribution may be given as a memorial or in honor of a colleague, friend, or loved one. Click here to download the pledge form.
